Calling all SLIGO MOUNTAINEERING CLUB members - present and past.  April 2024

As part of our 50th year celebrations, we are producing a BOOKLET. This is a call for contributions to this publication. We are looking for short articles about your mountaineering experiences at home and abroad, and your memories of the Mountaineering Club over the years.

Also, all things hillwalking related would be welcome - crosswords, recipes, and poems! Let the creative juices flow! Your support in this little project is much needed and appreciated. We plan to launch to booklet later this year. Deadline for submissions is JULY 1st 2024, by email, to Fiona Gallagher, at the email address : fionagallaghersligo@gmail.com

2024 marks 50 years since the founding of the Sligo Mountaineering Club. 

We will celebrate this significant milestone with several exciting events.
These events will include present and past members.
The celebrations will follow the club’s ethos with many of the events being out on the hills and will be a mixture of celebration and commemoration.
